Dr. Darius Roohani believes weight loss care should be medically sound, compassionate, and focused on long-term independence — not indefinite treatment. He is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, reflecting his commitment to high-quality, medically supervised treatment of metabolic disease. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Charles Drew University School of Medicine in Los Angeles and has led quality improvement initiatives focused on improving prior authorization processes for weight loss medications to enhance patient access to care. He has also received Press Ganey awards in recognition of excellence in patient satisfaction.
Dr. Roohani is a self-starting physician who loves empowering his patients with the tools and skills needed to achieve their health goals. He is married to his amazing wife, Sadaf, and lives in Orange County, California.
