YooshMD is a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance for physician services. Upon request, we provide a Superbill that patients may submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement are determined solely by your insurer and are not guaranteed. YooshMD makes no representations regarding insurance reimbursement outcomes.
 

Prior Authorization & Insurance Documentation
When clinically appropriate, Dr. Roohani may provide letters of medical necessity and supporting clinical documentation to assist patients in pursuing insurance coverage for prescribed medications. This documentation support does not guarantee insurance approval. Coverage determinations are made solely by the patient's insurance carrier.
 

Laboratory Testing
Laboratory testing is recommended but billed separately through Quest Diagnostics or Rupa Health. YooshMD does not bill for laboratory services. Patients are responsible for understanding their coverage for laboratory services under their individual insurance plans.
 

Medication Costs
Medication costs are separate from physician membership fees and are the responsibility of the patient. Pricing information referenced on this website reflects current manufacturer cash-pay pricing and savings programs as of the date last updated. Prices are subject to change without notice. YooshMD does not guarantee the availability or pricing of any specific medication.
 

Compounded Medications
YooshMD does not prescribe compounded medications. All medications prescribed are FDA-approved and sourced from authorized manufacturers.
 

Telehealth Services
YooshMD provides telehealth services to patients located in California and Nevada at the time of their visit. Patients are responsible for ensuring they are physically located in a state where YooshMD is licensed to practice at the time of each appointment.
